Outputting a Quote

Top  Previous  Next

Accessed from PRINT via the Quote option from the Sales UAM.

"Outputting" a quote is the term used to complete the quotation and sent it to the customer. Quotations are available for amendment at any time.

To Output a quote you must first highlight the quote header. Then select OUTPUT.

You will initially be asked to set the Expiry Date. This is the date the quote is valid for. The duration of the validity is under your control however a pre-defined number of days can be set via a Parameter.

Once the Expiry is accepted you may then choose to output the quote with or without a logo. This is to allow you to print onto pre-printed header paper.

Select the Printer Required. See Printer selection for output options.

The status of the quote will now show "ToCustomer", and is available for conversion to order.

On any subsequent outputs of the quote the options to REPRINT the original quote and to set the quote as a later version will be given.

If the Quote is output by Fax or Email the Sent Log option will allow you to see when and how any outputs have been sent.
