The Nominal Ledger is a ‘reflection’ of every movement within the system that has any financial affect on the company. Essentially this is from the Cash Book, Sales Ledger, Purchase ledger and Inventory. How these transactions are ‘directed’ to the correct account within the Nominal Ledger is determined solely by settings within a sub-application termed ‘Nominal Links’.
