Accessed from the mainticon from customer selection via the Sales UAM and also linked via the addicon from Ordering Customer revision.

 

A group customer is a virtual or actual customer group. The purpose of a Group is to allow pricing and  / or analysis of sales values etc for different ordering customers

The left grid lists all the different Groups set-up while the right grid shows all the Ordering Customers linked under the highlighted group.

 

ADD - Add a new customer Group. A group number must be entered and a group name. Two further options which only relate to "Van System" users. These options are to force a specific ledger customer and price list to be used for customer additions from the Van systems.

REVISE - Amend the customer Group details.

DELETE - Remove a Group. This can only be done if all ordering customer links are removed.

ACTIVE - Make the Group Active / Inactive

TOGGLE - Switch between Active and All Groups.

GO TO - Search for Groups numbers beginning.

GRP PRICES - Access the pricing for the highlighted Group. This acts in the same way as customer pricing.

CUSTOMERS - Access the Customer grid to Add and Remove Ordering Customers from the Group.
