Accessed from Access and System Utilities via the Utilities Menu (Not available for QXLite)
The Printers and Queues option displays all available printers and their current print status. This is also the point for adding new printers.
ADD - Add a new Printer. See below for details.
REVISE - Amend the highlighted Printer.
REMOVE - Delete the highlighted Printer.
FORMS - View and amend the Printer Forms, these control the print size and layout and are added automatically through the Printer ADD process.
QUEUE - View the details of any prints outstanding for the printer. Options to delete a single print job or all outstanding prints jobs are available. A REFRESH option is also available, however the list is Refreshed approx every 15 seconds.
ENABLE - This option will activate or deactivate printers based on their current Status.
Adding a New Printer
Select the ADD option and the following process is launched.
Firstly enter the printer "Name". The following screen is then shown.
Enter the Printer DESCRIPTION and the IP ADDRESS of the new printer. The Print type will default to PCL. The BLACK text options are pre-filled.
Upon OK the printer will have been added in a DISABLED status
